Vetiver essential oil is steam distilled from the roots of Vetiveria/Chrysopogon zizanoides, a tall grass native to India and other parts of Southeast Asia. It has a deep, earthy, and smoky aroma with rich woody and slightly sweet undertones. Ranging in color from amber to dark brown, this thick and grounding oil is highly valued in perfumery for its long-lasting scent and fixative properties. Vetiver blends well with floral, citrus, resinous, and woody oils, lending depth and complexity to both personal fragrances and aromatic compositions.

Due to the high resins, this essential oil gets too thick to pour, please place in hot water before use or remove the internal dropper once opened.
