Myrrh essential oil is steam distilled from the resin of the Commiphora myrrha tree, native to arid regions of Africa and the Middle East. It has a warm, rich, and earthy aroma with balsamic and slightly smoky undertones. Amber to dark brown in color, this essential oil is traditionally used in perfumery, incense, and cosmetic formulations for its deep, resinous scent. Myrrh essential oil blends well with Frankincense, Sandalwood, Patchouli, and floral oils, lending depth and complexity to aromatic compositions.

Due to the high resins, this essential oil gets too thick to pour, please place in hot water before use or remove the internal dropper once opened.
