Basic Powder is an alkaline mixture used for pH balance throughout the body and within the microbiome. Acid production occurs during normal metabolism and breakdown of food. Daily, the body requires mineral reserves to neutralize and eliminate acid and when this system becomes overburdened, acid accumulates in the connective tissue and extracellular spaces. The minerals in Basic Powder correct acid-base balance and decrease tissue acidosis by flushing out excess acid (H+ ions) from the muscles and connective tissue.

The goals of acid base balance are to reduce tissue acidosis (acid accumulation) in the tissues, improve symptoms associated with acidosis (ex. inflammation, allergic reactions, heartburn, bone loss), and re-establish ideal pH for a healthy microbiome and ideal microbial environment.
