Introduction
Tegor Laboratories, SL was founded in 1993 by professionals in natural medicine as a project intended to revitalize natural medicine and dignify the professional practice of it.
The new facilities are located in a privileged and strategic position (in relation with land, sea or air transport) at the outskirts of Bilbao, a green valley close to the sea.
The company is integrated by a team of professionals with whom we combine, on the one hand, a high level of experience in natural medicine and, on the other hand, the incorporation of new generations with a willingness to innovate and use new technologies.
Due to this fact, and without forgetting traditional values, our philosophy as a company fits in with modern life. The facilities of Tegor Laboratories have modern machinery for the manufacture of all products with special control systems regarding the physical conditions within the working area.
Besides, the production systems have the quality guarantee called “Good Manufacture Practices” (GMP’s). The introduction of this quality system has opened the path to exportation complying with each and every guarantee required in the international arena.
Research
The combination of the most up-to-date machinery and highly qualified staff in continuous training, allows us to guarantee constant levels of homogeneity of every product within the production chain. Both the facilities and the processes carried out in Tegor fulfill the most demanding guarantees within the international pharmaceutical legislation: the GMP’s (Good Manufacture Practices), which guarantee the quality of our products.
Tegor Laboratories maintains basic principles of quality and efficiency in production bearing in mind the following:
- Use of highly selected raw materials.
- Environmental friendly attitude and use of recycled materials.
- Minimization of waste production.
The Quality Control Department has two main sections:
- Microbiology Laboratories, devoted to the microbiological quality control by means of: preparing samples, sowing in culture media, quantifying and classifying microorganisms.
- Physicochemical laboratories, devoted to the analysis of raw materials, intermediate product and finished product applying the most advanced technologies.
Quality and Distribution
Tegor Laboratories exports part of its production to other European countries and has started its expansion both in America and in Asia, having already established a branch in Latin America.

Our Goal
Our main objective is the manufacture of natural products of tested quality and effectiveness so that they help us improve our quality of life. To achieve this goal, we rely on a youthful working environment and a philosophy based on professionalism and teamwork. For this purpose, we have designed a strategy that consists in the untiring research of new products divided into two sections: The investigation of new products and the recovery of products which have been successfully used in our culture as much as in others.
*Homeopathic medicines are reviewed by the Natural and Non-prescription Health Product Directorate (NNHPD) division of Health Canada for safety and efficacy, based on traditional homeopathic practice and once approved for sale in Canada are assigned and identified with a DIN-HM.
QUALITY AND SCIENTIFIC INTEGRITY
A meticulous selection of all plants used in preparation of HerbalGem’s products, together with the strict quality control procedures enforced at each stage of preparation and their experience of over 20 years in the field of gemmotherapy, ensure optimum quality and efficacy of all extracts.
HerbalGem only uses freshly picked buds, stabilized at the time of collection to ensure that no vitamins, minerals, natural plant hormones or nucleic acids are lost. The buds are collected directly from forests and organic farming by its dedicated team or by specially trained collectors. All products are prepared in our laboratory following HACCP regulations.
DOSAGE
It is advised that concentrated gemmotherapy remedies be taken between meals, 2-3 times a day. To achieve an optimum result, place the drops directly on or under the tongue and hold the concentrated macerate in the mouth for a few seconds before swallowing. The drops may also be taken diluted in a little water.
Precautions for use:
- Do not use if safety seal is broken.
- Pregnant women should avoid taking bud extracts with hormonal action like Quercus robur (Oak), Rubus idaeus (Raspberry), Sequoia gigantea (Giant redwood), Vaccinium vitis-idaea (Cowberry).
