Indications
Nervous disturbances; sensations of pain, pressure, and suffocation. Anginal conditions of the heart, cardiac neurosis, arrhythmia; dyspnea.
Mode of action
Grindelia robusta: Advanced cardiac or respiratory illness; sensation as if the heart were too large for the thoracic cavity, sensation of suffocation in bed; sleep apnea.
Lachesis: Nervousness, alternation of excitation and depression, loquacity, jealousy and envy; headaches especially above the left eye; palpitations with the sensation of suffocation and chest oppression; symptoms become aggravated during sleep and by heat; circulatory perturbations, a weak and irregular pulse; flushes of heat to the head.
Naja tripudians: Left frontal and temporal headaches due to the anginal condition of the heart; violent palpitations of the heart, oppression; cardiac valvular decompensation; cardiac weakness and irritation caused by a nervous cough, with a strangling sensation and suffocation.
