It is also a powerful tonic of the sympathetic nervous system and a general and sexual stimulant and aphrodisiac.

    Main properties:

    Very powerful and very broad-spectrum antibacterial • Antiviral and immune stimulant • Fungicide • Antiparasitic • Antiferment • Uterine tonic and emmenagogue • Sexual tonic and aphrodisiac • Respiratory and nervous stimulant • Hyperaemic agent • Anticoagulant, blood fluidifier

    Traditional indications:

    • Bronchitis, severe influenza +++

    The expert’s advice:

    External administration possible in dilution from 1%-10% maximum of CTEO in a vegetable oil such as Hazelnut, Apricot Kernel, etc.

    Chinese Cinnamon oil is an exceptional anti-infectious agent, but it is difficult to use because of its high dermocausticity which restricts its use to knowledgeable and careful users.

    Its extreme potency should be reserved for acute, severe and difficult cases, where other essential oils have already proven ineffective.

    Note:

    Skin irritation (dermocaustic) frequent if used pure. Always dilute, never use pure.
