It helps to liquefy mucous secretions and to decongest sinuses.

HYSSOP (Hyssopus officinalis) - Family: Lamiaceae Used as an expectorant to help relieve excess mucous of the respiratory passages (anti-catarrhal). Helps to relieve flatulence/to help expel intestinal gas (carminative). Used as a digestive tonic/digestive aid (stimulant).

GROUND IVY (Glechoma hederacea) - Family: Lamiaceae Used to aid digestion (stomachic). Used as an expectorant to help relieve coughs, mucous production (anticatarrhal) and bronchial afflictions. Used as an astringent to help relieve diarrhea. Used as a diuretic. Used to help relieve hemorrhoids.

LANCELEAF PLANTAIN (Plantago lanceolata) - Family: Plantaginaceae Calms cough, has an emollient action on the respiratory mucous membranes. Also has an expectorant action (encourages the expulsion of mucous obstructing the airways).
