Indications
Affections of the abdomen, on the right side; right-sided ovaritis, adnexitis, salpingitis (pelvic inflammatory disease), parametritis; the initial stages of acute appendicitis; cysts and benign tumours of the ovaries. Edema of the larynx; useful after insect bites and stings.
Mode of action
The action of the individual remedies, in combination primarily exerts an effect on the right side of the abdomen.
Apis: Burning, stinging pains in the right abdomen, may be accompanied by edema; right-sided inflammatory conditions; right-sided ovaritis, ovarian cysts; improvement with local application of cold; indicated for insect bites.
Apisinum: Intensifies the effect of Apis mellifica. The indications are similar.
Arsenicum album: Remedy with specific action in right-sided renal disorders and renal colic; pains are burning in nature, but relieved by heat; right-sided ovarian pain; tremendous anxiety and restlessness; right-sided inflammatory conditions of the female pelvic organs.
Bryonia: Appendicitis: patient lies on the right, worse from any motion, from deep inspiration, better by cold applications; non-specific inflammation
Sulfur: Increases and complements the effect of Apis mellifica. Reduces itching and the psoric disorders which follow ovarian or abdominal affections; constitutional remedy which increases reactivity in chronic cases.

- Glandular dysfunctions of women: R20

Clinical experience
- Typically regarded as an acute formula.
- Internal, painful scar tissue, 5-10 drops 3-4 times daily.
- Endometriosis, postoperative pain, diverticulosis.
- If indicated, administer in alternation with R39 at ½ hour intervals.
